I Love Ugly started from one designers need to create his dream garments. This Palm tree long sleeve is a great example of that freedom. Mo (from ILU) happens to have grown up in Oman, which is in the Middle East, the tan/yellow hue is enriched with the palm tree pattern. The palm tree is the quintessential Middle Eastern tree. They try to embed as much of our history and surroundings as possible in their designs, which might be why we all relate to different garments in our own unique ways. They, as designers, also have strong personal connections to certain pieces.
